Entry into force of the ”Megalaw”
On 10 April 2020, the Intervention Measures to mitigate the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infectious disease epidemic on citizens and the economy Act (ZIUZEOP or ”Megalaw”) was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia and has entered into force on 11 April 2020.

Possible measures for employers arising from Employment Relationship Act (»ZDR-1«) in times of exceptional circumstances
Due to exceptional circumstances an employer may unilaterally assign an employee to another type of work or another place of work (including work from home). Such measure can only last for the duration of exceptional circumstances. In addition, employers may invoke some other options provided by ZDR-1.
