ABOUT JAN

Jan specializes in Corporate & Commercial, Competition & Antitrust, Banking & Finance and Dispute Resolution. Jan heads the firm’s competition practice. He focuses on antitrust law including advising on long-term competition and antitrust strategies, merger control cases, commercial contracts, audits and design of compliance programs. 

Jan has a broad range of banking and finance experience, including advisory on cross-border loans secured by several different types of securities, acquisition financing, real estate projects financing and asset financings. 

Being a partner in the Corporate & Commercial practice at Kirm Perpar Gorjup, Jan focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, buyouts and his practice also includes comprehensive day-to-day advisory to clients.

As an experienced litigator Jan handles complex disputes. He represents clients in different types of court proceedings and also in international arbitration proceedings. 

Furthermore, Jan has also experience in the field of life sciences, having advised healthcare & pharmaceuticals companies in relation to commercial contracts, compliance and regulatory matters, clinical trials, promotional and advertising activities, competition and antitrust, disputes as well as IP matters. He frequently contributes to the “Getting the Deal through – Life Sciences” publication.
