ABOUT ANDREJ

Andrej is the Managing Partner of Kirm Perpar. He specialises on Corporate & Commercial, Competition & Antitrust, Real Estate and Aviation Law. Besides general corporate, corporate governance, compliance and regulatory advice, Andrej provides guidance in M&As, share sales, privatizations, strategic partnerships, as well as joint ventures. Having led several large-scale transactions in Slovenia with cross-border aspects, Andrej is recognised amongst leading business lawyers by clients and independent legal directories alike.

Andrej has a broad range of banking and finance experience, including advisory on cross-border loans, acquisition financing, real estate projects financing and asset financings.

Andrej has particular industry expertise in the field of pharmaceuticals & healthcare and is also a member of the Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society. He advises leading domestic and international clients on commercial contracts, compliance and regulatory matters, clinical trials, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, as well as in relation to medicinal products and medicinal devices regulations, imports and marketing authorisations, pharmaceutical advertising, donations and sponsorships.

Andrej regularly contributes articles to expert legal publications on the topics of corporate law, financial markets, corporate governance and pharmaceutical advertising. He is a contributor to the Getting the Deal Through series on the topics of Life Sciences and Aviation Finance, as well as International Comparative Legal Guide. His publications include articles on the topics of Unification of the European investment trust market and Financial Collateral Act (both published in International Financial Law Review). He has been nominated by Who's Who Legal 2023 as Global Leader for legal areas of Data Security, Information Technology and Fintech & Blockchain.

In 2024, he became a lecturer in Environmental Law at the Faculty of Economics and Informatics of the University of Novo Mesto.
